I think the trick is that you have to convert to EPUB using the MOBI format. Then I only had to "convert individually" once - from MOBI to EPUB - and email it. Kind of convoluted, but it works.ĮDIT2: To save a step, I made my "preferred output" MOBI so when the Kindle book is "automatically added", it automatically converts to my preferred output. Then converted the MOBI to EPUB, then emailed the new EPUB and it worked fine - no failure email this time. I used the "convert individually" feature and converted the EPUB to MOBI. This worked perfectly as it always has for the last 5 years or so. I then sent the book to another Kindle device using Calibre.
